The lessons of a failure In order to better understand the way the scientific world responds to the spa therapy works, the authors have analysed the reasons why the French review Les Archives de pédiatrie had refused their article : « Results after one year concerning a cohort of 144 enuretic children aged from 6 to 17 who had followed a spa therapy in children’s homes in Lons-le-Saunier, Jura, in 2002 ». Their conclusion is that, to avoid any misunderstanding on the nature and objectives of spa therapy works, the authors must try to be clear when exposing differences between these spa therapy works and the usual therapeutic tests, justifying their position. They must be careful to avoid any presentation with a promotional aspect.
